I have had the privilege of traveling to several countries in Africa on humanitarian trips. I have traveled to Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Tanzania. While in Africa, I worked with local churches, schools, health clinics, government hospitals, and international organizations, like Operation Mobilization. These trips had several goals. First, improve the way of life by providing access to good education by building schools and training teachers. Second, provide medical care to where access by road is impossible, like along lakes and in mountain regions. And most important, share the hope that can be found through the love of Jesus Christ.
